Make Sure You Use Cream First

Think of it as a two-part adhesive. The cream should be blended into the area where you are planning to add powder, and the powder itself adheres to the cream and sets it in place. If you try to do it the other way around, it can end up looking patchy and you will undoubtedly want to redo it.

While most people only use highlighter to emphasise their facial bone structure, they also work wonders when your eyeshadow is looking flat and lifeless. Next time you get a bit worried, try adding a little highlighter to the inner corners of your eyes, and possibly even to the brow bone.
